Hi, I am Astrid Chen 👋🏻

GenAI researcher, cooking interesting ideas.

I am actively looking for 2025 Spring/Summer research internship.

I am now the graduate student in Georgia Tech, advised by Prof. Humphrey Shi, researching Video Understanding and Synthesis. Previously, I received the MS in 2021 and BS in 2020 at National Chiao Tung University, advised by Prof. Wen-Huang Cheng and Prof. Hong-Han Shuai.

I am deeply passionate about generative AI in multimodal large language models, specifically text-guided Image/Video Synthesis, Editing, and Understanding. Throughout my research journey, I’ve been driven by the potential and transformative capabilities of these domains to create impactful and user-centric solutions.

My works have appeared in top-tier conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ACMMM, TNNLS, and ACM CSUR. I’ve served as the invited reviewer for CVPR, ECCV, NeurIPS, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, and ACM ToMM.
